Guwahati, June 08 (NKTV): With Human-Elephant conflict continuing in the state, another incident has surfaced in Baksa of a giant tusker demolishing homes in Baksa. As per reports, an adult elephant had strayed out of Bhutankhuti forest last night at around 2:00 AM in search for food.
The tusker entered a village in Musalpur and along with demolishing homes, also destroyed vegetation in the area. It also targeted kitchens of homes and the available rice, villagers informed.
No villagers were injured in the incident, while the Forest Department has been informed of the same.
